Locks, Shocks, & Jocks Week 6

Locks

When there is a battle of undefeated teams going into Week 6, this is a game that demands attention.  The line is 3, which is usually given to the home team by default, so New Orleans being a favorite is due more to the location and less about them being “better.”  The G-men have been good on the road (3-0) but have only played one winning team on the road (Dallas) which they barely won.  Look for the game to be decided in the fourth quarter, and we are taking the Saints to take down the Giants on a late field goal or touchdown.

The next lock is the Jets over the Bills.  The Bills have been disappointing all year, especially offensively.  T.O. has been a bust, maybe Romo wasn’t so bad afterall!  Sanchez has looked like a franchise quarterback for the Jets, and look for him to make the plays to get the Jets a win.
Shocks

The first shock will be for the #Texans to march into Cincinnati and pull the upset over the 4-1 Bengals.  Look for Slaton to run all day on the Bengals and for Shaub to do just enough to squeak out a victory in the Natti.  Benson has been nicked and Ochocinco won’t be much of a factor.  Texans win by 3.

The second shock is the Ravens will take down the Vikings.  The Ravens D will not only keep Adrian Peterson but will also pressure Brett Farve into some ill-advised throws.  I would expect Ed Reid to be the beneficiary of at least one interception.  Derrick Mason will show again why he pulled a Farve and un-retired right before the season started with a touchdown and at least 75 yards.  Ravens by 7 in the HHH Metrodome.

Jocks

The first jock is Drew Brees.  He will throw for over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in the game against the Giants.  Against the Jets the D was the reason for the win, in this marquee matchup Brees will shine.  The offensive firepower will be too much for the Giants to overcome.

The second jock is Donovan McNabb, pretty much because he showed he was healthy last week and this week he gets the hapless Raiders.  Look for McNabb to get 300 yards and multiple scores as well.  The Raiders don’t look like they could stop Chris from scoring and we all know what that means!!  A lot of Westbrook and McNabb, points on the board, and a great fantasy day by all owners of McNabb.
